Biography
Dr. Bela Kothari has received her M.A. Ph.D in University of Rajasthan during the period of 1991. Currently, she is working as HOD and Associate Professor in University of Rajasthan. Her Research projects include “A Study on the Cultural Construct of Infertility with particular reference to Rajasthan.” Funded by ICSSR, New Delhi (2008-2009). Ongoing project includes A study of Ecology and Economy of Rajasthan, Under UPE. Her Major areas of Research includes Medical Anthropology, Anthropology of Religion. She had presented the papers like “The social meaning of Infertility in National Workshop on the Idea of Rajasthan. March 2012” and “Male role in Reproductive Health from exclusion to Involvement”, Women’s’ World, Tromso 1999. She Worked as a short term consultant in High powered committee on Gujjars demand for status of S.T. , 2007 (Government of Rajasthan)
