Biography
Dr. Deepak Bhatnagar has received his PhD in Physics. Currently, he is working as Head and Professor in the Department of Physics, University of Rajasthan. His area of specialization includes Microwave Electronics. His Research projects include Design, Development and Evaluation of wideband linear scanning(2003); Effect of ionized plasma medium on antenna structures mounted on re-entry vehicles(2006); Design of compact wideband patch antennas for mobile handset applications(2009); Design and development of broadband and dual band antennas for modern wireless communication systems(2010-2012); Development of plasma chamber setup for re-entry studies(2012); Radioprotective potential of indigenous Indian fruits against ionized radiation induced alterations in cell renewal and noncell renewal system of mice(2010-2013); Design and development of compact coplanar patch and fractal antennas for wideband and ultra-wideband communication systems(2012-2014). He is a Fellow of Institute of Electronic and Telecommunication Engineers, India. He is a member of Senior Member IEEE, USA; Life Member of Microwave Application Society of India, New Delhi, Indian Association of Physics Teachers, National Academy of Sciences, Allahabad, Plasma Science Society of India, Gandhinagar, Indian Physics Association, Mumbai.
