Biography
Dr. Krishna Gopal Sharma has received his Ph.D. Currently, he is working as Head in the Department of History & Indian Culture, University of Rajasthan, Jaipur and Co-ordinator for College Development Council (CDC) University of Rajasthan, Jaipur. His Area of specialization is Ancient Indian History & Culture Rajasthan’s History, Culture and Archaeology. He is serving as an Editor for reputed Journals like Nucleus, An Interdisciplinary Journal of Humanities & Social Sciences and Jijnasa, A Journal of the History of Ideas and Culture. He have Authored books like Early Jaina Inscriptions of Rajasthan 1993, Prachina Bharat ka Itihasa 2000, Adhunika Vishva ka Itihasa 2001, Charana Sahitya Parampara ( Essays on Bardic Literature) 2001, Bharat ka Rajanitika evam Sanskritic Itihasa, Part II 2007 and History and Culture of Rajasthan 2014. He is a Life member of Indian History Congress, Indian Archaeological Society. Epigraphical Society of India, Numismatic Society of India, All India Oriental Conference, Indian History and Culture Society, Rock Art Society of India, Indian Society for Prehistoric and Quaternary Studies, Place Names Society of India, Indian Society for Buddhist Studies, Rajasthan History Congress, Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan and Comparative Literature Association of India (CLAI).
