"Dr. Mahendra Kumar Jain has received his M. A., Ph.D. in Economics. Currently, he is working as Associate Professor in the Department of Economics, University of Rajasthan. His area of Specialization is Banking and Indian Economy. He have authored a book titled Rural Banks and Rural Poor 2000. He is a Life Member of Indian Economic Association and Rajasthan Economic Association. "
