Biography
After a Masters Degree in Journalism and Mass Communication, Dr Manoj Lodha wrote a Doctoral Thesis on “Incredible Change in Newspaper World” at the MLS University in Udaipur. He has also done a Post Graduate Diploma in Tourism and Hotel Management, a Diploma in Culture and Tourism, a PG Diploma on the Thought and Contribution of Jawaharlal Nehru and a PG Diploma in Human Rights. Dr Lodha has about 18 years of teaching experience and before joining the Centre for Mass Communication, he was working as an Assistant Professor at the Hemchandracharya North Gujarat University in Patan. In addition, he has worked for over a decade as a journalist in various state and national level newspapers. He specializes in Page Layout and Designing and his major research interests focus around socio-economic issues and Development Journalism. Besides completing three Research Projects from the UGC, New Delhi and GSACS, Ahmedabad, Gujarat Social Infrastructure Development Society, Gujarat etc. he has authored and edited eight books and written 15 research papers.
