Biography
Dr. Rajesh Kothari has received his Ph.D. from Lucknow University, Lucknow. Currently, he is working as Head and Professor, Faculty of Management in the R.A. Podar Institute of Management, University of Rajasthan, Jaipur. His Area of Specialization is Finance. His Research Projects include Impact Study of SIDBI’s Micro Credit Scheme, (Sept. 2001), Problems and Prospects of Kota Doria Saree (Sept. 1999) for Institute of Labour Development Jaipur (Sponsored by IFCI Ltd.), Study of Media Use in Jaipur – A Project executed for Rajasthan Patrika (Feb. 1999)., Fund Mobilization in the State of Rajasthan – (1996) for IFCI Ltd. (New Delhi)., Regulatory Framework for Free Pricing (1992) Sponsored by UTI-ICM, Mumbai. He have authored books like Financial Services in India: Concepts and Applications, SAGE, India, 2010; Bhav Kitna, Business World, India, 2009; Management Accounting: Concepts & Applications, MacMillan India Ltd., India, 2007; The Indian Capital Market: Readings in Contemporary Issues, University Book House, Jaipur, India, 1997; Contemporary Financial Management, MacMillan India Ltd., India, 2005. He served as an editorial board member of JSE Stock News (a publication of Jaipur Stock Exchange Ltd., Nov 1992 - June 1993).
