Biography
"Dr. Virender Kumar Saxena has received his Ph.D. Currently, he is working as Associate Professor in the Department of Physics, University of Rajasthan. His area of specialization includes Microwave Electronics. His Research Project includes Design and development of broad & dual band antennas for modern wireless communication system, (2010 - 2014 ); Development of Plasma chamber set up for the study of re-entry of space vehicles, (2007-2010); Development of wide band patch antennas for mobile handset applications, (2006-2009); To study the effect of ionized plasma on antennas, (2003-2005). His Current Research Fields are Dual frequency and broad-band microstrip antenns, Generation of ECR plasma and study of communication blackout,Synthesis of nano ferrites and development of Microwave absorbers for defence applications and Study of Meta-materials. He have authored a review chapter is written in The book “Micowave Heating”. He was Awarded Merit certificate for 2005-2006 for paper entitled “on the radiations from switchable triangular microstrip antenna” by The Institution of Engineers (India). "
