Biography
Kanchan Gehlot has received her M. Sc. (Physics) in Indian Institute of Technology Delhi, India. during the period of 2009. Currently, she is working as Assistant Professor in the Department of Physics, University of Rajasthan, Jaipur. Her Area of Specialization is Nanophotonics, Computational Photonics. She was Awarded University Gold Medal (JNVU)– 2006, Sir Donald Field Gold Medal-2006, CSIR Junior Research Fellow: 2009-2011., CSIR Senior Research Fellow: 2011-2013. She is a Member of Optical Society of India (OSI) and Optical Society of America (OSA).
Research Interest
"Theoretical and numerical modelling of optical phenomena. Development of approximate/numerical methods. Study of propagation, scattering and modal problems in linear/nonlinear media in photonics. "
