Dr. Nabarun Purkayastha is currently working as a Assistant Professor in the Department of SOCIOLOGY, University of Science and Technology, Meghalaya , India. His research interests includes Tribal and Ethnic Studies, Sociological Concerns of Plantation Labourers, Education and Society, Sociology of Environment, Social Stratification, Qualitative Research/ Ethnography.. He /she is serving as an editorial member and reviewer of several international reputed journals. Dr. Nabarun Purkayastha is the member of many international affiliations. He/ She has successfully completed his Administrative responsibilities.
