Biography
Dr. Mohammed Ateequr Rahman completed his post-doctoral fellowship in Interventional Neurology and Stroke. His areas of interest are Stroke / TIA / Cerebrovascular diseases ( Acute management and preventive strategies), Carotid / Intracranial stenting, Emergency Neurology ( Intra-cerebral haemorrhage, Subarachnoid haemorrhage, Intracranial aneurysm, acute headaches, etc.) and medical complications of Neurological diseases. He has received advanced training in Carotid Stenting in Tokyo, Japan. After a post-doctoral fellowship, he practiced independently, doing both diagnostic and therapeutic Neuro-endovascualr procedures. His Neurology background with Intensive care specialisation makes a triple asset in patient selection, decision making in acute strokes, both Ischemic and haemorrhagic
