Biography
Sri VV Venu Gopal Rao has joined as Director (Finance) assumes charge at RINL -Visakhapatnam Steel Plant. A Chartered Accountant by profession, Sri Venu Gopal Rao served as a Director (Finance), Hindustan Copper Limited, a PSU under the Ministry of Mines before joining RINL. He also served as a Director (Finance) in M/s Braithwaite & Co Ltd, a PSU under Ministry of Railways, GOI. He has also worked in various capacities at Bhilai Steel Plant, SAIL from 1991 - 2010 during his three decades of experience. Sri Venu Gopal Rao obtained his degree in Commerce from Andhra University and Masters in Ecology & Environment from Sikkim Manipal University of Health, Medical and Technical Sciences, Gangtok. Sri Venu Gopal Rao has undergone a training on International Business Environment & Strategic Business Management - a senior management programme, as observer from Henley management College, Greenlands and Henley-on-Thames, UK. He stood first at the All India level 22nd National Competition for Young Managers conducted by All India Management Association, Delhi in 1996.
