Dr. Narayan Chandra Mandal is currently working as a Professor in the Department of Botany, Visva-Bharati University , India. His research interests includes Carbon metabolism and Phosphate solubilization by common diazotrophs, Survival ecology of di-azotrophs under stress; microbiology of water, and Antarctica soils, Studies on natural anti-microbials (phytochemicals and bacteriocins from lactic acid bacteria. He /she is serving as an editorial member and reviewer of several international reputed journals. Dr. Narayan Chandra Mandal is the member of many international affiliations. He/ She has successfully completed his Administrative responsibilities.
