Dr. Saumya Chakrabarti is currently working as a Associate Professor in the Department of Economics and Politics, Visva-Bharati University , India. His research interests includes development-macroeconomics, rural and urban informal economy, problems of labour, agriculture and rural development, etc. He /she is serving as an editorial member and reviewer of several international reputed journals. Dr. Saumya Chakrabarti is the member of many international affiliations. He/ She has successfully completed his Administrative responsibilities. He /she has authored of many research articles/books related to development-macroeconomics, rural and urban informal economy, problems of labour, agriculture and rural development, etc.
