Biography
After completing MBBS from Calicut Medical College in 1974, had postgraduate training in England and passed MRCP from the London Center and subsequently obtained FRCP from London, Edinburgh and Glasgow. While in England, worked for National Health Service Hospitals in Basildon, Orsett, Buxton and university hospitals in Manchester. After leaving England, was the Head of the department of Internal Medicine and Rheumatology at the Royal Hospital, Muscat, Oman. Royal Hospital is the ultimate referral hospital of Oman, where all the referred patients and complicated cases are dealt with and the main clinical training center for undergraduate and postgraduate students. Was actively involved in teaching undergraduate and postgraduate students. Was an examiner for the MRCP examination at the London, Kuwait and Muscat centers. Was actively involved in organizing the MRCP examination at the Royal Hospital, Muscat.
