Biography
Debashis De is a Professor and Head of the Department, Computer Science and Engg, West Bengal University of Technology and Adjunct Research Fellow,Dept. of Physics, University of Western Australia,Australia. He had done his educational M.Tech(2002), from University of Calcutta, and Ph.D (Engineering Nanotechnology) from Jadavpur University (2005) and Post Doc. from Herriot Watt University, Edinburgh Scotland, UK(2008) and second Post doc, from University of Western Australia, Australia, Perth(2009). He had been the senior member of IEEE,CSI and also the member of Institute of Nanotechnology, UK, IEE, URSI, Belgium and ISCA, and American Nano Society. He had won the most prestigoious award of JC Bose Memorial Award 2016. IETE
Research Interest
Mobile Cloud Computing, Nanotechnology (QCA,DNA) Mobile Computing and Low dimension device medelling. Design of low power device for mobile communication/disaster management. Optimization of Mobile network (Handoff and Location Management, QOS, Cell breathing, Mobile data mining, Mobile channel allocation) Molecular simulation of semiconductor nanostructures.
