Biography
Dr. Bandyopadhyay pursued four and half years' Post-doctoral research at Physical Research Laboratory (PRL), Ahmedabad, Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bangalore, and, Jawaharlal Nehru Centre for Advanced Scientific Research (JNC-ASR), Bangalore, after submitting his Doctoral Dissertation at Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Kanpur. He worked at FIITJEE and Narayana IIT Academy, New Delhi, before joining Hooghly Engineering and Technology College (HETC). He is Member of the OSA and Life Member of ISAMP, former Member of SPIE (USA), and, the IoP (UK). His biographies appear in the Marquis Who's Who in the World and Asia. Abir supported his residential schooling, at Rama Krishna Mission (RKM) Vidyapith, Purulia, and RKM Residential College, Narendrapur, with Merit cum Means Scholarships.
