Biography
Since my childhood, I got opportunities to visit different parts of India. The cultural and biological diversity of different states is now a part of my study. My research interest includes wetland ecology, ecosystem services, ethnobiology, gender issues in conservation and social system in conservation planning. I have worked on wetland resource use dependency of people living in floodplains of the Ganges and the Brahmaputra. I studied zoology for my bachelors from St. Xavier’s College, Ahmedabad and environmental sciences for masters from the Maharaja Sayajiro University, Vadodara. Since 2015, I have been involved in research studies. I worked as a volunteer under Wildlife Institute of India. Currently I am working as a Research Fellow in the institution. Apart from my research, I like travelling, painting, poetry, reading, photography and singing.
