Biography
Ankur Prakash is Vice President for New Growth and Emerging Markets, Wipro Limited. With 20 years of multinational and multicultural experience in the IT industry, Ankur has served across the Americas, Asia and Europe. He has handled diverse roles in areas such as business management, process management, client relations management and program management. As a results-oriented leader, Ankur has expertise in growing, sustaining and driving business transformations. He has a proven ability in leading business strategy and operations management, while also displaying great people skills. Prior to working with Wipro, he served as Vice President and COO of Tata Consultancy Services, Latin America. Ankur has a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee, and has done a General Management Program from Harvard Business School. He has studied at the MIT Sloan School of Management, where he was part of the Management and Leadership Program. He has been recognized in the Top 10 most influential executives of Latin America by Nearshore Americas.
