Srini Pallia

Biography

 Srini Pallia is the President for Wipro’s Consumer Business Unit, responsible for setting the vision, shaping and implementing growth strategies for Wipro’s industry verticals including Retail, CPG, Media, Entertainment, Travel, Transportation, New Age companies, Public Sector & Education. In his career spanning over 25 years, Srini has played various leadership roles where he has successfully established, spearheaded and scaled growth across Business Units, Service Lines and Markets. He is part of Wipro’s Group Executive Council, a core group of corporate ideologues who have played a key role in shaping the company’s corporate initiatives over the years. In his previous role, he served as the Sr. Vice President & Global Head of Business Application Services where he managed a team of over 29,000 people across dedicated practices. This service line contributed to 30% of Wipro’s global revenues. He has also been Vice President – Business Development & Sales for Americas geography, driving a business of USD 700 million across multiple industry verticals. His current focus lies in aligning emerging technologies like AI, Cognitive Computing, Hyper Automation, Robotics, IoT and Predictive Analytics to ongoing business priorities around customer experience design, omni-channel commerce and digital supply chains. With consumer-centric industries facing the highest levels of disruption, Srini has been passionately nudging customers towards digital transformation while driving internal organizational alignment to support this change. Rated among the top 25 Young Business Executives in India by Business Today in 2008, Srini has received several accolades including Award of Excellence for Exemplary Performance and Chairman’s Club – Most Valuable Player for his contributions to Wipro’s growth. More recently his unit has won two consecutive best strategic business awards, two financial years in a row. Srini holds a Master’s degree in Management from Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore and a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering. He has undergone an Advanced Leadership Program from McGill Executive Institute, Canada. Besides his interests in history and wildlife, he is an avid hiker and a runner.
