Biography
H.K. Singh is associate professor at XISS and is also heading the library and documentation wing of the institute. He has a total of 32 years of teaching experience at UG and PG in various institutes. He is a MA in sociology with specialisation in Industrial Sociology. He has written about 34 articles in various journals of repute and has participated in 14 national and international seminars. He is also the editor of the book “The Catholic Church in Jharkhand – A Mediator of Change” published by Xavier Institute of Social Service, Ranchi in 2003. He is an empanelled Ph.D. guide in Birla Institute of Technology and has completed the doctoral guidance of one student. The topic of research work supervised was “Study on the role of Information Communication Technology in E-governance in India – A case study of Jharkhand” He is a life member of the Indian society for Technical Education, New Delhi, Indian Association of Special Libraries and Information Centre, Kolkata and of National Institute of Personnel Management, Kolkata
