Biography
Prof. Sanjeev Bajaj, before completing his MBA in Finance, did his graduation in commerce, and higher secondary in mathematics, physics and chemistry. He started his career as an entrepreneur in 1992. Later he moved to corporate world and worked in various profiles related to finance, MIS, sales and marketing for almost 8 years. During his tenure with different organizations, he continued to take part-time lectures in different academic institutions in subjects related commerce and management. He joined academics full time in July 2003. After working with Rai University, Raipur and IMIS, Bhubaneswar he joined XISS, Ranchi in January 2007 as Reader and presently he is Associate Professor in Finance. He is registered for his Ph. D. and expected to complete the same by 2016. He teaches specialization Finance papers like SAPM, PAF, CRSFM etc to PGDM/MBA second year students. He has published a couple of articles in academic journals and presented papers in few conferences. Prof. Bajaj also handled the placements for 5 batches from batch 2009-11 to batch 2013-15 in the institute. He helped establish relationship with many new recruiters over the years and created a big pool of regular recruiters. He helped the Assistant director during this period in Admission Process as well. He is responsible for “Online Application” in place of “Paper-based Application” system at the institute. He also was coordinator for Industry Oriented Programs (PGPMI and PGPBIFS) during 2007-11. He has served in 9 different states in his career of 23 years. He has a great understanding of Education Industry, especially management education in the country. As our Assistant Director Fr. Ranjit Toppo mentioned about him “He is hardworking, professional to the core and always looking to better the position of the organization”
