Christopher Mathews

Biography

Dr. Christopher Mathews, MD is Senior Vice President and Chief Medical Officer for ZeOmega, and serves on the Board of Directors. He is a board certified internal medicine physician and physician executive with over 25 years experience in health care delivery systems and managed care. Dr. Mathews is highly experienced in design and implementation of efficient, high quality clinical and operational programs, provider-payer relations, and value-driven patient care delivery. He comes to ZeOmega from Lovett Collins Associates, where he served as a Senior Consultant. He also served as Senior Vice President and Chief Medical Officer for the Community Health Network (CHNW) and the Community Health Plan of Washington State (CHPW), as well as Medical Director for Healthcare Review for Qualis Health. He was also a medical director for Group Health in Seattle, and served as chief medical officer, chief operating officer and interim chief executive officer at Pacific Medical Center and Clinics in the Seattle area. Dr. Mathews earned his Bachelor of Science in Molecular Biology degree from the University of Washington, and Doctor of Medicine degree from the John A. Burns School of Medicine at the University of Hawaii.
