Biography
John Einck is an associate professor of radiation medicine and applied sciences at the University of California, San Diego (UCSD) and director of its division of clinical radiation oncology. As a specialist in brachytherapy, Dr. Einck has an active practice in cancers of the cervix, prostate, and breast. He is also particularly interested in the challenge of preventing, diagnosing and treating these cancers in the developing world. Dr. Einck assisted with the design and implementation of the cervical cancer treatment program at Institut Curie in Dakar, Senegal and is passionate about continuing these efforts throughout the developing world through CureCervicalCancer.
