Biography
Ir. Bambang Setiawan serves as Independent Commissioner of PT Golden Energy Mines Tbk since January 12, 2012. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering from Bandung Institute of Technology, Indonesia, in 1976 and Doctorate in Philosophy in Geology and Mining Engineering from Ecole Nationale Superieure des Mines de Paris in 1993. He was a career officer in Directorate General of Mineral and Coal, Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources. Prior to his retirement on April 1, 2011, he was the Director General of Mineral, Coal, and Geothermal, Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources (since July 2008) and Secretary of Directorate General of Mineral, Coal and Geothermal. Currently, he serves as Independent Commissioner of PT Golden Eagle Energy Tbk.
