Biography
Raymond Chong is currently the President Emerging Market for IDS Medical Group and also responsible in managing the market in Thailand and Philippines Prior to idsMED, he was the Managing Director and CEO of Samitivej Public Company from 2005 to 2012, a hospital group listed in the stock exchange of Thailand. During his 8 years in Thailand, he was also the Chairman of Sodexo Healthcare Support Services and First Health Food. Train in Finance, he has more than 20 years experiences in healthcare sector. Starting in Australia where he worked for St. John of God Healthcare System. He also spent 8 years in Malaysia where he worked for 2 private hospitals, Sunway Medical Centre and Hospital Pantai Ampang. In 2010, Raymond was nominated as “100 Next-Era CEOs in Asia 2010” by the Japan Time. He regularly speaks on topics relating to healthcare innovations, management and the changing landscape of healthcare.
