Biography

Dr. Ramelan serves as Independent Commissioner of PT Indah Kiat Pulp & Paper Tbk since June 29, 2007. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Law from Universitas Airlangga (1970), Master of Laws (2002) and Doctorate degree in Law (2009) from Universitas Padjajaran. He has served in various positions at the District Attorney Office of the Republic of Indonesia for more than 35 years, including Head of District Attorney Office in Bogor, Intelligent Assistant in Attorney General Office in Special District of Jakarta, Special Staff of the Attorney General, Head of Law and People’s Relation Bureau in Attorney General Office, Head of High District Attorney Office in Riau, Director of Corruption Crime in Attorney General Office, Junior Attorney General in General Crime Department, Attorney General in Special Crime Department and Staff of Attorney General. He has worked with Universitas Trisakti and PT. Pabrik Kertas Tjiwi Kimia Tbk.
