Biography
Mr. Richard Bruce Ness serves as President Commissioner of PT Petrosea Tbk since April 20, 2016. He served as President Commissioner from October 2010 until April 30, 2014, and as President Director from April 30, 2014 until April 20, 2016. He has worked for Petrosea since July 2009 and was previously the President and Chief Executive Officer. Mr. Ness has served as a Director of Indika since May 2009. Mr. Ness has been involved in the energy, resources and mining sectors for over 38 years. His previous positions include President Director of various Newmont entities, mining consultant at PT Clinton Indonesia and Vice President of PT Freeport Indonesia. Mr. Ness also currently holds the position of Mining Chairman at the American Chamber of Commerce, Indonesia, and the Mining Chairman at the International Business Chamber, Indonesia. He attended Moorhead State University, Minnesota, USA, for additional studies in postsecondary education. Mr. Ness completed a program in professional management at Harvard Business School, Harvard University, Massachusetts, USA, in 1992.
