Biography

Originally from the Isle of Man, Sam is a UK trained physiotherapist, with an MSc degree from the University of Northumbria and a BSc degree in Sports Therapy from the University of Birmingham. In addition, he also has personal training, sports massage, clinical pilates and dry needling qualifications.  He had worked in the health and fitness industry for a number of years, but in more recent years has worked in private practice, dealing with post-operative, sports and chronic injury patients. His skill set enables you to see him from initial injury all the way though to your end stage goals. Sam has experience of playing a high standard of rugby and has a big passion for this sport, so he is still actively involved in the sport but now as pitch-side physio for both local and the Singapore national men’s 15s team. He is also involved with most of the international rugby tournaments that come to Singapore.  Having been an active sportsman his whole life, he understands the personal needs and requirements of returning to training and competition following an injury. He is a strong believer in a hands-on approach to treatment but also believes that individualised exercise rehabilitation plays a vital part in this process.   Originally from the Isle of Man, Sam is a UK trained physiotherapist, with an MSc degree from the University of Northumbria and a BSc degree in Sports Therapy from the University of Birmingham.
