Biography

I am a postdoctoral researcher in the School of Computer Science, Institute for Research in Fundamental Sciences (IPM). My research interests include performance modeling and evaluation, dependability and performability concepts, distributed systems especially grid and cloud computing, and task scheduling algorithms. For more detailed information about my research interests please see here. I obtained my Ph.D. (thesis title "Performability Modeling and Analysis in Grid Computing") from Sharif University of Technology under supervision of Prof. Ali Movaghar. You can find details on my educational background here. In addition to my research, I am also teaching some courses (e.g. Computer Simulation and Fundamentals of Programming) at the Department of Computer Engineering at Sharif University of Technology.
