Biography
Mohammad Reza Ahmadzadeh has received his BSc in the field of Electronic Engineering from Ferdowsi University of Mashhad, Holly Mashhad, Iran in 1989. He also received his MSc in Electronic Engineering from University of Tarbiat Modares, Tehran in 1993. His MSc thesis was “Printed Farsi scripts Recognition". He has published few papers in this subject. He did his Ph.D. at the Centre for Vision, Speech, and Signal Processing (CVSSP), University of Surrey, Guildford, UK. His research area was "Reasoning Under Uncertainty in Remote Sensing" under supervision of Prof. Maria Petrou. He has been initially as a lecturer in Electronics at Shiraz University, Iran (1993-1997) and as an Assistant Professor of Electronic Engineering 2001-2004. He been the Deputy of Student Affairs of School of Electronic Industry (1995-1997) and chair of Electronic Department (2001-2003) at this university. He is an Associate Professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, Isfahan University of Technology, Iran, and has been the Founder and Head of E-Learning Center (2005-2009) and the Deputy of Student Affairs (2009-2011) at this university. Since 2012 he also has a position as the Director of Technical Support (Central Laboratory) of Isfahan Science and Technology Town (ISTT).
Research Interest
He is interested in Signal Processing, Image Analysis, Expert Systems, Information Fusion and Integration of Multisource Remote Sensing by Dempster-Shafer theory of Evidence.
