Biography
avad Askari-Marnani received the B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in electrical engineering from Isfahan University of Technology in 1987 and from University of Tehran in 1993, respectively. He received also Ph.D degrees in electrical engineering from University of Tehran in 2001. From 1988 to 1990 he worked at Isfahan Petrochemical Company in Isfahan. From 1999 to 2001, he received a grant from DAAD and joined Control Engineering department at Technical University Hamburg—Harburg in Germany, where he completes his Ph.D. with Professor Lunze’s research group. He is currently an assistant professor at control engineering department of Isfahan University of Technology.
Research Interest
His current research interests are in control theory, particularly in the field of Hybrid Dynamical Control Systems and Fault-Tolerant Control, Identification, Discrete-Event Systems, Graph Theory and Electrical Engineering Curriculum.
