Biography
Dr. Reza Safian received the B.Sc. degree in electrical engineering from the Isfahan University of Technology, Isfahan, Iran, in 1999, the M.A.Sc. degree in electrical engineering from McMaster University, Hamilton, ON, Canada, in 2003, and the Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering from the University of Toronto, Toronto, ON, Canada, in 2008. From 1999 to 2002, he was an RF Design Engineer with the Electrical and Computer Engineering Research Center (ECERC), Isfahan University of Technology. In January 2008, he joined the faculty of the Isfahan University of Technology, where he is currently an Assistant Professor with the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department. His research interests are terahertz wave propagation and imaging, plasmonic structures, microwave circuits and imaging
