Dr Hamid Reza Aghayan

Biography

  I am a medical doctor with 14 years experience in human cell and tissue banking and 8 years experience in clinical grade cell manufacturing. I am familiar with different tissue processing methods including graft preparation from amniotic membrane, skin, heart valves, bone and soft tissues . I am also skilled in cGMP compatible cell manufacturing for clinical applications. I am interested in quality management systems and regulatory issues in cell and tissue banking.  My research and business interests are: • Human Cell and Tissue Banking • Regenerative Medicine (Cell based therapies and tissue engineering) • Translation of basic stem cell research into clinical applications • Regulatory and Safety issues in cell and tissue transplantation
