Biography
Dr. Hossein Bannazadeh Baghi is the holder of a PhD awarded to him by the Department of Virology, Parasitology and Immunology at Ghent University, Belgium. He completed his BSc and his MSc with honors and received National Awards in his home country for being the top student in the field of Medical Virology. Currently, he is working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Microbiology at Tabriz University of Medical Sciences, Iran. He is also a research member of the Infectious and Tropical Diseases Research Center, Tabriz University of Medical Sciences, Tabriz, Iran. His fields of interests are; viral immunology, viral pathogenesis and viral epidemiology. His work involves extensive collaboration with colleagues from other disciplines, including; infectious diseases, microbiology, molecular biology, and public health.
