Biography
She is a medical doctor graduated from Tehran University of Medical Sciences in Iran. She has got her PhD in Medical Genetics from the same university in 2009. She has published several articles in the field of cancer genetics particularly about a group of tumor associated antigens called Cancer-Testis Antigens. This group of genes has been proposed as cancer biomarkers as well as appropriate candidates for cancer immunotherapy. Using real-time RT-PCR technique She has evaluated expression of several cancer-testis genes in different cancer cell lines and tumor samples. Recently, She has conducted a research project for gene knock down of some members of this group in cancer cell lines in order to assess the results on apoptotic pathways.
