Biography
A well qualified and highly experienced research scientist who has worked in New Zealand, the Middle East and the US with extensive multidisciplinary research experience that would easily transfer into a variety of industries. My specialist fields of research have included protein and peptide chemistry; Host-Microbe interaction involving laboratory research; lecturing and 1:1 student tuition; curriculum development and the leadership of teams of up to 24 Scientists and Technicians. Particular expertise has been in the development of methodologies and innovative approaches to problems in DNA purification and production of correctly folded proteins. This had led to ground breaking research and publications in international refereed journals.
