Biography
Dr Michael Stafford is a consultant in anaesthesia with a special interest in chronic pain management. He has been a consultant at the Ulster Hospital, Belfast since January 2005. He has been lead specialist for chronic pain management at the Ulster Hospital since 2013. On completion of specialist training in Northern Ireland, Dr Stafford undertook a one year fellowship in chronic pain management at the Wasser Pain Management Centre, based in the Mount Sinai Hospital Toronto, one of the largest, multi-disciplinary pain management centres in Canada. Current interests include management of: Neck and shoulder pain and radicular arm pain Pain related to nerve damage (Neuropathic pain) Chronic headache and migraine, including botulinum toxin injections.
