Neil Mcclure

Biography

Neil McClure is Professor of Obstetrics and Gynaecology at Queen’s University and the Belfast Trust.  Having graduated from Queen’s University Medical School he trained in the UK, Germany, America and Australia before returning as  a consultant / Senior Lecturer and then Professor.  As a regional expert in infertility, (both male and female) he specialises in all aspects of infertility including IVF; tubal surgery including repairing damaged fallopian tubes as a cause of infertility and reversal of sterilisation; and the management of endometriosis as a cause of infertility.  He is the lead clinician in N Ireland for surrogacy.  For 10 year he has run a fibroid clinic in the Belfast Trust receiving referrals from across both Northern and Southern Ireland.   He offers medical, surgical and radiological options for their management.  He is a frequent speaker at conferences and has over 200 publications to his name.
