Biography
He is a Consultant Ophthalmic surgeon with a specialist interest in Oculoplastic, Lacrimal and Orbital disorders. He is based at the Royal Victoria Hospital and also have sessions in the Mater and Downpatrick Hospitals. He graduated in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Dundee.He completed my basic Ophthalmic training in the Royal Victoria hospital, Belfast. During this time he also undertook a period of ophthalmic research towards a Doctor of Medicine at Queen’s University Belfast. He became a Fellow in Oculoplastic, Orbital and Lacrimal surgery at Moorfields Eye Hospital, London, in 2002. He was appointed Consultant Ophthalmic and Oculoplastic Surgeon at Altnagelvin Hospital, Londonderry, in 2003. I moved to the Belfast Trust in June 2011, where I am currently based.
