Mr. Patrick Roche

Biography

 Patrick Roche is a member of The Boston Consulting Group’s Health Care and Public Sector practices. He leads the firm’s medtech sector in Western Europe and South America. He also coleads the Public Sector practice in the UK. He is a core member of the Strategy practice and brings significant experience leading large-scale transformations. Patrick has worked extensively in the biopharma and medtech sectors on topics such as BU strategy, sales force effectiveness, commercial models, market access, partnering and licensing, over-the-counter medications, and multichannel marketing and sales. He has led multiple brand and therapeutic-area strategies, several brand-turnaround projects, and a number of multiyear transformation programs. Patrick’s experience in the public sector has covered a broad spectrum of areas, departments, and topics. These include operating model redesign, strategy, efficiency/effectiveness projects, and large-scale departmental transformation. He has worked across government in both the center and in departments, recent examples have included work with UK’s treasury, cabinet office, and home office as well as its ministries of trade,business, health, infrastructure/transport, education. Prior to joining BCG, Patrick worked with Deloitte Consulting (formerly Andersen), in the strategy practice.
