Biography

Mr. Daniel A. Raskas, J.D., has been the Senior Vice President of Corporate Development at Danaher Corp. since February 2010 and its Head of Corporate Development since November 1, 2004. Mr. Raskas served as Vice President of Corporate Development at Danaher Corp. from November 1, 2004 to February 2010. He joined Danaher in 2004. He manages a corporate team of M&A professionals, with oversight for the business development specialists throughout Danaher. He lead his team through all aspects of M&A and investment activity, including identification, cultivation, valuation, due diligence, contract strategy and negotiations. Mr. Raskas served as Vice President of Corporate Development at Danaher Corp. from November 1, 2004 to February 2010. Prior to joining Danaher, he served as a Partner at Thayer | Hidden Creek (HCI Equity Partners). He served as a Managing Director of Thayer Capital Partners in Washington, D.C. since 1998. Mr. Raskas served as a Managing Director of HCI Equity Partners. Prior to Thayer, he served as an Associate at Arnold & Porter LLP from 1993 to 1997, where he specialized in transactional work including mergers and acquisitions and public offerings. He has been a Director of Tektronix Inc. since November 15, 2007; Beckman Coulter Inc. since June 20, 2011 and Sutron Corporation since July 27, 2015. Mr. Raskas served as a Director of Classic Vacation Group since 2000. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Government from Harvard College, his M.B.A. from Columbia University School of International and Public Affairs and his Juris Doctor from Harvard Law School.
