Biography

Vincent A. Forlenza is Chairman, Chief Executive Officer and President of BD (Becton, Dickinson and Company), a leading global medical technology company that develops, manufactures and sells medical devices, instrument systems and reagents. He became CEO in 2011 after more than 30 years with the company.Mr. Forlenza is leading the implementation of a shared value strategy at BD which is fully integrated into the company’s core business strategy. BD’s company purpose, Helping all people lead healthy lives, is at its core based on the concept of shared value, both for the business and for society, and carries on a long corporate tradition of social responsibility.
