Biography
Dr Brian Hynes has commenced private practice at the Bons Secours Hospital, Renmore, Galway. He also works as a Consultant Cardiologist at University College Hospital, Galway. Dr Hynes graduated from National University of Ireland, Galway with an honours degree. He completed his general medical and specialist Irish cardiology training at St Vincent’s, St James’, Mater Misericordiae, and Cork University Hospitals. After a research fellowship at University College Cork, he undertook a two year advanced training sub-specialisation fellowship, in vascular medicine and interventional cardiology at Massachusetts General Hospital, Harvard Medical School, Boston, USA, before returning to Ireland as a Consultant Cardiologist
