Biography
Percy was a Senior Research Scientist in Chemical and Physical Sciences at DuPont Pharmaceuticals from 1999-2001, and joined Bristol-Myers Squibb when the company acquired DuPont Pharmaceuticals in 2001. Shortly after joining Bristol-Myers Squibb, he began leading a team of scientists responsible for two programs, and has steadily taken on increased responsibility and leadership in Discovery Chemistry. Throughout his leadership, his teams have brought forward a number of clinical candidates into development. Prior to his current role, Percy founded the Discovery Chemistry Platforms group, which uses technology both to enhance efficiency (e.g., high throughput synthesis/purification, scale-up synthesis, and radiochemistry) and to expand the boundaries of traditional medicinal chemistry (e.g., millamolecules, anti-sense oligonucleotides, and protein conjugates).
