Biography
Prior to starting his PhD, Giorgio worked as an analyst at Deloitte Italy's Global Financial Services Industry (GFSI) and as an intern at Cassa di Risparmio di Cento. He holds an MSc (Distinction) from Cranfield University, as well as an MSc (Distinction) and a BSc (Hons) from University of Ferrara. Giorgio is fluent in English and Italian, and has a working knowledge of French and German.
Research Interest
Giorgio's research interests lie in the intersection between management, banking and financial economics. Specifically, his current work focuses on the role that ownership structure plays in the transmission of monetary policy via the risk decisions of financial intermediaries.
