Biography

Proficient in conducting psychological assessment, formulation, diagnosis and therapeutic intervention with children, adolescents and adults. Therapeutic approaches include, but are not limited to, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Schema Therapy, Psychodynamic approach and Motivational Interviewing (MI). Experience in facilitating group work both with clients and family members. Also facilitation of staff training sessions. Strong commitment to professional development and current member of the Psychological Society of Ireland (PSI). Several publications in professionally recognised journals. Available for psycho-education workshops and information evenings on a variety of topics relating to mental health.

Research Interest

I currently carry out psychological assessments with children where there are queried concerns regarding cognitive, psychological, social and emotional development. I am also available for psychological assessments and therapeutic work with adults.
