Biography
Andrew Kellett is principle investigator and lecturer of medicinal inorganic chemistry in the School of Chemical Sciences at Dublin City University. His Present research activities include metallodrug-nucleic acid interactions for biochemical and therapeutic application. His research interest further includes Design of inorganic materials as molecular scissors for DNA excision, nucleic acid binding interactions, free radical chemical biology at the DNA interface, metallo-cytotoxic drug design and mechanism. He holds Ph.D. from Dublin Institute of Technology (DIT) and was also appointed as Postdoctoral Fellow at the Focas Research Institute.
