Biography
Dr Therese Leufer is a lecturer in the School of Nursing and Human Sciences in Dublin City University.Her clinical nursing background was neuroscience nursing where she specialised in neurosurgical intensive care working in various neurosurgical units in the greater London area.She has undertaken a variety of roles within the department including Deputy Programme Chair (BSc. Hons in Nursing programme), Undergraduate Teaching Convenor, Programme Chair (MSc in Nursing/Healthcare Practice Programme Chair) and contributed to numerous programme and department fora. She has recently completed her Doctorate of Education Degree (Bris) where her thesis focused on Evidence-based Practice in Nurse Education.
