Biography
Dr. Kevin Lalor, Head of School of Languages, Law and Society, DIT has been elected to serve on the Executive Council of the International Society for the Prevention of Child Abuse and Neglect (ISPCAN). Founded in 1977, ISPCAN is the only multidisciplinary international organization that brings together a worldwide cross-section of committed professionals to work toward the prevention and treatment of child abuse, neglect and exploitation globally.
Research Interest
Current research interests include experiences of adolescence; youth crime and victimisation; child sexual abuse prevalence; the role of child sexual abuse in HIV transmission in sub-Saharan Africa; comparative perspectives on crime victimization.
