Biography
He is working as a Lecturer in DIT.His research interests are in the area of detailed computer simulation of heat and mass transfer – especially in the context of buildings and plant. Early work included the investigation and development of numerical methods for stiff systems of ordinary differential equations, which arise in the simulation of energy flows in buildings. Has recently applied this work, within an IEA Expert Group, to the development of highly accurate reference solutions for a series of building-to-ground heat transfer problems.
Research Interest
Simulation of heat and mass transfer . Mathematical characterization of the building energy simulation problem.
